purelyIV uses 200mg iron sucrose administered by a licensed RN. The infusion itself usually takes about 20 minutes, and the full visit is about 60 minutes including setup, assessment, and monitoring afterward.
There are several IV iron formulations. purelyIV uses iron sucrose because it has a strong safety profile, is better suited for in-home administration, and is typically more affordable overall. It often requires a series of about five infusions, but the full course is intended to support similar iron repletion outcomes.
